Kosovo’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, in an open letter to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic urged him to recognise the Republic of Kosovo.
“Serbia had many leaders who knew that history reserved Kosovo statehood attributes, but none of them had the courage to admit this publically. Subsequently, the Comprehensive Agreement will happen, because there is no other alternative. I Hope You [Vucic] will become the first President of Serbia, who has the courage to face the truth, and recognise the Republic of Kosovo,” Pacolli wrote in his open letter which he published in Facebook. Pacolli also urged the Serbian President to stop ignoring the reality by organising improvised meetings such was the meeting held Wednesday in Belgrade between Vucic and Kosovo Serb political representatives. “Contribute to peace Mr. President of Serbia!” Pacolli wrote.
