Organization for Security and Cooperation of Europe in Tirana, OSCE, encourages Albanian public institutions to provide more accountability and independent investigations on cases of corruption. Thus, this office expresses its concern that the positive trend that continued since 2013, has been reversed and that corruption remains one of the biggest challenges in Albania.
“OSCE Presence expresses its concern about the fact that the positive trend that started in 2013 changed and this calls for more accountability by public institutions and independent investigations of corruption cases. The OSCE Presence encourages public institutions and law enforcement agencies in Albania to continue with the implementation of reforms in the justice system and anti-corruption reforms, according to international recommendations”, OSCE’s statement says. /balkaneu.com/
