Orthodox Christmas is being celebrated today in FYR Macedonia. The Archbishop of Ohrid, Stefan, sent a message on the occasion of this day.

“The event taken place that morning in the cave of Bethlehem delivered all hopes and expectations, all preaches and promises made throughout the centuries. This event reflects the faith of previous, present and future generations. On that day, we met, saw and accepted God. With the birth of Christ, paradise was opened for humanity and the heavens were joined with the earth”, declared Archbishop Stefan.

The main celebration for this day is being made in the church of St. Clement of Ohrid in Skopje, where state leaders will also be present. /ibna/
