Deputy speaker of the parliament of FYROM and VMRO-DPMNE MP, Antonio Milososki said today that the boycott of the Macedonian opposition is damaging the country in the international plan.
“The boycott of the opposition, namely, Macedonian Social Democratic League (LSDM) and their behavior, is causing problems in the international plan. This behavior is also interpreted as pressure toward the prime minister, speaker of parliament and all high state instances in the country. But, on the other hand, this behavior favors the position of a neighboring country, which is also an EU member”, declared Milososki, alluding to Greece.
He also commented the deadlock in the process for the solution of the name dispute, by warning that there may be soon a new round of negotiations for this problem.
“There are signals by UN envoy Nimetz that he will soon invite representatives of Macedonia and Greece to talk about the name dispute”, said Milososki.
Since June, the Macedonian opposition has boycotted parliament and given up on the MP mandates, following a decision not to recognize the latest parliamentary elections. /ibna/
