Through its MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, Democratic Party has reacted about the changes taken place in the public administration.
The democrat lawmaker said that stability and professionalism in the public administration are crucial for the integration of the country in the European Union, stressing that this was the reason why the Law on Civil Services was one of the three criteria imposed to Albania, approved through consensus upon the request of European Union, in order for the country to be granted the candidate status.
“This bill guarantees the highest standards of civil service. Rama was advised in his meetings in Brussels not to make changes in the public administration and civil service, because European taxpayers, like Albanian taxpayers, have invested millions of Euros to train this administration. Democratic Party calls upon Prime Minister Rama to immediately stop these illegitimate attacks against public administration, which is one of the most precious assets of the country. We are determined to face with all legal and political means this attack which aims to undo Albanian public administration and its replacement with party militants”, said Bylykbashi. /ibna/
