Opposition MPs have gathered 62 signatures in order to call a constitutive session in parliament on October 9.

The press secretary of Self Determination, Erzen Vranici was asked by IBNA if the opposition bloc would proceed with the election of the speaker of parliament or continue with the debate, Vranici said that this is yet to be decided in a meeting that opposition party leaders will have.

“The order of the day and the election of the speaker of parliament will be decided in a meeting before the session of the opposition bloc leaders”, said Vranici.

Meanwhile, member of LDK steering committee, Sadri Ferati says that he doesn’t know how it will be proceeded during the constitutive session, but says that a week ago, the opposition bloc wanted this session to be accompanied by debates.

“We have not talked, because we don’t know if the session has been confirmed officially and we haven’t talked as to what will further happen. Will we proceed in the election of the speaker of parliament or will PDK be waited one more time? We have requested a debate to open, to discuss and for the citizens to listen to the arguments of both side. So far, PDK has evaded the debate”, said Ferati.

But, PDK MPs will not be present in the October 9 session.

The vice chairman of this party, Adem Grabovci says that PDK MPs have not yet received an invitation for this session. He also says that the only competent person to call the session is the chairwoman of parliament, Flora Brovina.

“We have not yet received an invitation for the session. But, who sends this invitation. Of course, Mrs. Brovina is the only one that has the power to send it”, said he.

Grabovci says that PDK is waiting for a solution to be found after the meetings that the president of the country, Atifete Jahjaga is holding with representatives of political parties. /ibna/
