Opposition in Albania has accused the government today of proposing a new increase on the price of fuel through a tax that the government is planning to introduce.
Opposition representative and former Socialist Movement for Integration MP, Perparim Spahiu declared today in a press conference that the government has decided to ignore parliament and decide on its own. According to the opposition representative, the price that Albanian road users must pay for fuel is the highest in the region.
“This failed model is the reason why this government must be toppled, because it generates nothing else besides poverty”, he said.
Meanwhile, the finance and economy minister, Anila Denaj has declared that the opposition is lying on the increase of the tax on fuel. According to the minister, the government has increased no taxes. /ibna/
