European champion to defend its crown after its 69-52 victory over the Russians

An impressive Olympiakos triumphed over a rather poor CSKA Moscow 69-52 in Friday’s Euroleague semifinal in London’s O2 Arena to reach Sunday’s final, where it will try to defend its European crown.
This is the fifth straight year that a Greek team has advanced to the final of Europe’s top club competition and the second in a row for Olympiakos.
The Greeks played a fantastic game in defense by closing down on CSKA offensive assets, as coach Giorgos Bartzokas countered CSKA’s physical superiority with rapid movement and endless marking across the court.
