Albanian National Lottery, part of “Austrian Lotteries” Group held the official introduction ceremony for the Albanian public. Lotto 6/39 is introduced for the first time in Albania.
Executive Director of National Lottery Peter Simoner introduced the four basic principles of the company’s activity to Albania: integrity, security, responsibility and partnership.
“The Albanian people and state can rest assured that the National Lottery is equipped with all the technical capabilities, entrepreneurship experience and financial capacity to offer adults, who are interested in playing, a wide spectrum of high quality and secure games of chance”, said Mr Simoner.
The member of the Managing Board of “Austrian Lotteries”, Bettina Glatz-Kremsner said that the whole activity of the National Lottery in Albania will be strongly supported by “Austrian Lotteries”, which has a 26-year experience in the world market and the state holds 22 percent of the shares.
On behalf of the Albanian state as licensing authority, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Alfred Rushaj, said: “For the Ministry of Finance and the Albanian government the choice of an experienced operator to meet all the criteria and have the technical and financial skills for this business was primary. It is of value that this operator has proved to have policies on games and shown responsibility to the public.”
“Austrian Lotteries” has been supporting projects on many different social areas for many years, including health, humanitarian and social projects, environment, science and research as well as supported projects and institutions in the arts, culture and sports areas. /ibna/
