Research organization Numbeo, in a global ranking of criminal situation, ranks Albania in the 57th country out of 118 other countries. Numbeo is the biggest database of user contributed data about cities. It offers the ranking for the mid-year of 2016.
Numbeo headquarters are in Belgrade and it ranks Albania as a country exposed to the crime of the index 45.84, whereas Security index is estimated to be 54.16.
According to Numbeo ranking, Albania presents a more concerning crime situation compared to neighbor, region or Balkans countries.
Crime index in Serbia is 39.95, in FYROM 38.50 and in Greece 39.40. In Europe, Albania is ranked as the sixth country of highest crime rate. The first one is Ukraine, whose index is 49.43. While in Balkans, Albania is ranked in the second place based on crime concerning situation, after Montenegro whose index is 48.64. /balkaneu.com/
