The “We Can” coalition led by SDSM will have 46 deputies in the new parliament, the coalition led by VMRO-DPMNE 44, the DUI 15, the Alliance for Albanians and Alternative (AA-A) 12, the Left 2 and the DPA 1, according to the simulation of the State Electoral Commission based on the initial unofficial results from yesterday’s snap parliamentary election with the processed results from 3,421 out of a total of 3,480 polling stations. The other nine parties and coalitions that participated in the elections did not win a parliamentary seat.
The SDSM coalition has the most votes 324,084 or 36.12%, the VMRO-DPMNE coalition 312,745 votes or 34.85%, the Albanian DUI 101,432 or 11.3%, the Alliance for Albanians and Alternative 76,425 or 8, 57%, Left 37,057 or 4.16% and DPA 13,553 or 1.52%.
