Three new COVID-19 outbreaks were confirmed on Friday in North Macedonia, according to Health Minister Venko Filipce.
The Health Minister announced that one of the patients was from Skoye and was traveling to Serbia; the second one is a woman who is a grandmother to a four-year-old girl from Stip, while the third case involves another man. Following the 19 confirmed cases announced this morning and the 3 new outbreaks, 70 cases have been recorded in North Macedonia so far.
All COVID-19 patients remain in good condition, said the Minister, and their recovery is constantly monitored. Only one patient who was given respiratory support a week ago is getting worse, with Filipce stressing that he hoped he would be able to fight the disease. Two of the patients are in recovery or in the last stages of the disease. As noted by Filipce, outbreaks have been reported in Skopje, Debar, Gostivar, Shtip and Ohrid.
“To date, 888 tests have been carried out in North Macedonia. We have enough tests for the future, and more will be purchased”, Health Minister Venko Filipce concluded. /ibna
