Niue recognizes Kosovo’s independence

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci declared today that the state of Niue has recognized Kosovo’s independence.

“Last evening I received a verbal note from Toke Talagi, prime minister and Foreign Minister of the state of Niue, which is located in the Pacific Ocean, for the recognition of Kosovo and the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two states”, Thaci declared.

Niue is located in the Pacific Ocean and has an area of 260 square km.

Niue is a self governing state which is voluntarily tied to New Zealand, a country that leads the diplomatic relations of this country. /ibna/
