Cypriot Foreign minister, Nikos Christodoulides, departs for Egypt on Tuesday April 10, for a working visit, as part of a tour of countries in the region.
During his stay in Cairo, the FM will have a private meeting and will hold talks with his counterpart, Foreign minister Sameh Hassan Shoukry, to discuss, inter alia, bilateral relations between Cyprus Egypt, Cyprus – Egypt – Greece trilateral cooperation, energy issues, the Cyprus problem, EU – Egypt relations, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and other relevant regional issues. At the end of the talks, the two Foreign Ministers will make statements.
Christodoulides is also scheduled to meet with Egyptian prime minister, Sherif Ismail.
The Foreign minister will return to Cyprus on Wednesday./IBNA
