The new Milan Malpensa-based Ernest Airlines were established in 2017 is owned by Italian and Swedish investors and until now, it operates in three countries only: Italy, Albania and Ukraine.
However, “as of this summer”, starting on June 21, the low-cost air carrier “Ernest Airlines will operate flights that will link north of Italy to Iasi and Bucharest, as it was announced at the BIT Milano 2018 International Tourism Exchange”, romaniajournal.com reads.
Ernest Airlines will serve flights from Cuneo to Iasi (twice a week), Genoa -Bucharest (twice a week), Verona – Bucharest (three times a week) and Verona – Iasi (three times a week).
Regarding the official schedule, the company will release it soon.
Flights will be operated by Airbus A319 and A320 with one more addition of two more Airbus A320 aircrafts to become part of the Ernest fleet in the near future…/IBNA
