Albanian Minister of Defence, who is participating in the meeting that Albanian Association of North Atlantic is holding, declared that Nato’s member countries are facing dangers that come from east and south.
“Nato’s countries are recently facing dangers coming from east and south, but they are joined by the principles of collective defence, management of crises and collaborative security”, said minister Kodheli during her speech in the meeting called “Nato in front of Euro Atlantic challenges”.
She said that the Alliance’s concerns from the east and the southeast are evident, while adding that the member countries have discussed, decided, planned and organized all necessary measures relating to the new risks coming from Russia and the jihadists.
“In these new conflicts, we must not forget the regions that can be easily affected by international turmoil. West Balkan is one of them, relatively far from Russia and Middle East, but affected by money and Moscow’s ideology and fundamentalism. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia have not yet joined to the Euro Atlantic club”, declared minister Kodheli. /ibna/
