Committee for Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament has appointed the Bulgarian ambassador, Nataliya Apostolova as special representative of the European Union to Kosovo.
Apostolova’s appointment comes as the Slovenian diplomat, Samuel Zbogar was appointed head of the European Commission Delegation in FYROM.
The Bulgarian diplomat, Apostolova, has served until now as the head of EU delegation in Libya. She was appointed in this post in May 2013, two years after the departure of the EU delegation from Libya, following the attacks that occurred in 2011 in Bengazi, where the US ambassador remained killed.
Experts say that with her remarkable experience in diplomacy and her abilities, Apostolova has helped the stability and democratic transition in Libya. /balkaneu.com/
