Kosovo’s PM, Isa Mustafa and that of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, are expected to meet in January 2015, in order to continue the high level talks between the two countries.
This was said by the EU head of diplomacy, Federica Mogherini, following a meeting that she had with Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci.
“We had the chance to exchange our viewpoints on Kosovo’s progress. We agreed that now that there’s a new government in Pristina, work must start for the European agenda in order to make better progress next year, in the domestic point of view and in terms of EU integration”, declared the European diplomat.
Mogherini said that with Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, she discussed about the relaunch of high level talks brokered by the EU.
“I am planning to meet both prime ministers in January in order to continue our work for the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina. For me and the EU this remains a high priority”, said Mogherini.
Meanwhile, Mogherini said that the work for the implementation of the technical agreements continues and that there’s still a lot to be done. /ibna/
