Leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, was in Brussels today where he had a meeting with Joseph Daul, head of European People’s Parties, which LDK is a member of.
Mustafa has received the support of Mr. Daul about the new government which is expected to come out of the Kosovar opposition coalition.
“A very good meeting with the head of LDK, Isa Mustafa. We discussed the results of the elections and priorities of the next elections”, said Daul.
Mustafa said that he briefed Mr. Daul on the elections, the details of the agreement reached by the opposition coalition and the priorities of the governing coalition.
“I pledge that the coalition will work more in order to push forward the process of the integration of Kosovo in the Euro Atlantic structures, that it will be determined to fight corruption and organized crime and that the economic development of the country will be its priority”, declared the leader of LDK during the meeting with Mr. Daul.
