Court of Serious Crimes has acquitted today the businessman, Arben Frroku, accused of the murder of police inspector Dritan Lamaj.
The court ruling states that during the examination of the case, the charges addressed against him have not been proved.
Arben Frroku’s defence attorney declared that scientific proofs showed that his client was not guilty and that at the moment that the crime took place, he was in the suburbs of Elbasan.
The Prosecution of Serious Crimes had demanded life in prison for Arben Frroku, as the person accused of the murder of police inspector Dritan Lamaj in Tirana on February 24, 2013.
Arben Frroku is the brother of the Christian Democrat MP, Mark Frroku, who as of yesterday, is under arrest, accused of a murder in Belgium. /ibna/
