The visit of the Prime Minister of Montenegro in Pristina, Dusko Markovic, which was scheduled to take place today, has been cancelled.
Donjeta Gashi, government’s spokeswoman, declared for the media that the visit was cancelled due to weather conditions.
This visit was supposed to take place at a time when Parliament of Kosovo has postponed the voting of the bill for the ratification of the demarcation agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro, as a result of the lack of political consensus.
This agreement has been signed in 2015. The parliament of Montenegro has ratified it, while the parliament of Kosovo is yet to ratify it.
The agreement has been contested mainly by opposition parties, who claim that with this agreement, Kosovo loses territory. /balkaneu.com/
