Montenegro faces a tax debt of 342 million Euros

Podgorica-The government of Montenegro has decided to make public on the media a list of company names which do not pay their taxes on a regular basis.

The government in Podgorica has also decided to make public a list of company names which do not have tax debts and which pay their taxes on a regular basis.

These decisions have been taken by the government as a result of the fact that different companies in Montenegro owe at least 342 million Euros.

Experts claim that this amount is around 12% of the GDP and of the state budget in Montenegro.

On the other hand, the criticism of the economic experts point out the fact that this unpaid tax debt is the highest in the Balkan, but also in Europe.

The government of Montenegro has issued another decision, which allows private companies to pay their taxes not in cash, but through properties that they have. /ibna/
