"The achieved results confirm that the measures undertaken by the government of Montenegro and the company's management in terms of the financial and organisational restructuring of the company are being implemented in the right way and in accordance with the goals set for 2018," the CEO of Montenegro Airlines, Živko Banjević, said in the statement.

The flag carrier of Montenegro, Montenegro Airlines handled 348,659 passengers in the first seven months of 2018, up 10.7% year-on-year, the flag carrier said in a statement.

As for July 2018, it has been already recorded as the single month in its history when the company's planes carried the most passengers, reaching nearly 100,000 people. This is up 15% on the year, with six operational planes, the airline said in its statement.
