Albania appears to be among countries with the highest risk for money laundering. Such fact is confirmed by the latest data published by the Basel Institute. According to these data, Albania ranks 85th in the ranking of this institute, which includes 146 countries of the world, ranking them based on this phenomenon.
Albania has scored 5.75 points, a weaker score than last year’s score of 5.04 points.
Meanwhile, the 10 countries with the highest risk for money laundering are Iran, Afghanistan, Guinea, Tajikistan, Laos, Mozambique, Mali, Uganda, Cambodia and Tanzania.
The countries with the lowest risk for money laundering are Finland, Lithuania and Estonia.
