The head of EU diplomacy, Federica Mogherini said that the last round of talks between the presidents of Kosovo and Serbia has been “difficult, but encouraging”.
“Yesterday, we’ve had a very good meeting between the representative of Belgrade and Pristina. It was a difficult meeting, but also an encouraging one”, said Mogherini.
She said that Western Balkans has made “significant progress” and praised the agreement between Skopje and Athens for the solution of the name dispute.
Mogherini said that she expects EU Foreign ministers to accept the recommendations made by the European Commission to start accession talks with Albania and FYROM. /ibna/
