Clarifications on revenue of August provided the finance ministry, on the occasion of newspaper headlines Saturday, contradicting revenue shortfalls and stressing that they exceeded the budget target by 1.6%.
More specifically, the finance ministry informs that as shown by the provisional data of August 2015, not only has there not been a shortfall, but:
- There was an excess of revenues of Internal Revenue and Audit Centres by EUR 617 mln compared to August 2014, ie 28.17% increase.
- There was an excess of revenues generally in relation to the budget target by 1.6%. The budget provided 3.991 when revenues reached EUR 4.055 million.
Meanwhile, there was a large increase and surveillance of the season as is clear from the list. VAT corresponding in this period is expected to be particularly high and will appear in revenues in September but mainly in October.
