Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a meeting in Frankfurt this afternoon with European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde.
The meeting which, according to information from the Maximos Mansion Headquarters, was held amidst a particularly warm ambiance, revolved around the issue of the successful implementation of the “Hercules” Plan to clear “red” loans, the budgetary targets, Green Development, as well as the issue of lifting the restrictions the report provides for Greek banks regarding Greek bonds, a topic in which there has been a positive response.
Following the Prime Minister’s one-on-one meeting with the ECB President, an extended meeting followed, where a “particularly hot debate” on the current situation and prospects of the Greek economy also unfolded. During the meeting, according to sources from the Greek Government, “there was satisfaction with the high levels of implementation of the Greek Government’s reform program, as reflected in the multitude of bills adopted so far and the positive evaluation report by the Institutions”. /ibna
