Executive director of “Open Society” foundation or better known as Soros, Vladimir Milcin, has reacted today by saying that the opposition must be careful in the dialogue offered by prime minister Nikola Gruevski, which is also backed by European Union.
Milcin, who is considered as a strong critic of the party in power, VMRO-DPMNE, said that the opposition must not be naïve, because the current party in power may use political talks to tarnish political opponents even more.
“I hope that the opposition hasn’t yet forgotten last year’s agreement, which was never implemented. I also hope that they’re aware that Eurocrats are not interested on freedom and justice”, said Milcin.
Milcin said that the opposition must not allow any compromises at its detriment and also in relation to the name dispute, which is an obstacle for the accession in the NATO and EU.
“Ali Ahmeti and Nikola Gruevski have the necessary majority, including the support of Menduh Thaci of PDSH to find a solution on the name and the accession of the country in the NATO and EU. Therefore, the opposition must know that the parties in power may consider it as a traitor serving to the interests of the Greeks”, said Milcin, who is also known to be a prominent screenwriter in the country. /ibna/
