Turkish opposition party leader, Devlet Bahceli demands the extradition of former co-leader of PYD/PKK Kurdish group Salih Muslum from Germany.
While addressing his party’s lawmakers in parliament on Tuesday, February 6, the Turkish opposition Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) head sent a message to Germnay saying, according to Anadolu that cited him, that, “There is a historic and premium chance for Germany (to improve relations with Turkey) (…) Either Germany will extradite terrorist Salih Muslum to Turkey for bringing him to justice, or they will deal a blow to friendship and relations (with Turkey) once again.”
Bahceli told Berlin not to make the same mistake as Prague, that released Muslum, thus supporting terrorism, although the man wanted by Turkey had last been seen in Germany, according to reports.
Opposition head spoke shortly before the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu visits Germany. He is expected to meet his German counterpart, Sigmar Gabriel and as he has said, “the extradition issue of Muslum will come to the agenda of the meeting on Tuesday”, Anadolu reports…./IBNA
