After the visit of the US Assistant State Secretary, Victoria Nuland, representatives of the government of Kosovo have called on opposition parties to talk about vital issues for the country.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hajredin Kuci declared that all opportunities must be used to enable consensus on the issue of border demarcation with Montenegro and other issues relating to the process of European integration.

“We take the messages issued by the USA seriously, but we also care about Kosovo’s interests. I’m convinced that we are not moving on opposite directions, but on the same one. We will use every opportunity to enable national consensus, in order to respect the constitution and our laws”, Kuci said.

During yesterday’s visit to Kosovo, US Assistant State Secretary, Victoria Nuland has demanded from Kosovo to follow the European path.

Integration processes, fight against corruption, organized crime and the ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro have been some of the topics of discussion in the meetings that Nuland held with leaders of the institutions of Kosovo.

In all of these meetings, Nuland has mentioned the importance of addressing the issue of demarcation between Kosovo and Montenegro, as a very important process which gives way to Kosovo’s path of European integration. /balkaneu.com/
