Menduh Thaci has been reelected for the third time as leader of the Albanian Democratic Party (PDSH), the largest Albanian opposition party in FYR Macedonia.
In yesterday’s congress of his party, Thaci declared that he pledges for a new political agreement which will replace the Ohrid Agreement and that this new agreement will improve the status of Albanians in FYROM.
“We pledge for a new agreement which addresses the unsolved problems of Albanians and lays the foundations of a new status”, said Thaci. He accused the Albanian party in power, BDI (Democratic Union for Integration) as the responsible party for the catastrophic state of Albanians in FYROM.
The congress of this party approved a resolution which demands for politics not to have an influence on justice, which demands fight against corruption and organized crime, the solution of disputes with neighboring countries, especially with Greece, the acceleration of the process of the integration in the NATO, independence of the media, the reformation of the electoral code which prevents manipulations in the elections and other issues that concern the Albanian community. /ibna/
