Meetings have been intensified in Skopje for the solution of the political crisis. The US embassy issued a press release where it declared that June 5 elections will not be credible if not all political parties, including the opposition, do not participate in it.
The US embassy has proposed for political means to be found in order to cancel the date of elections, which are scheduled to take place on June 5 and to agree on another date, until the conditions for free and democratic elections are met.
Meanwhile, to help the process of finding a solution, the special envoy of the German government, Johannes Haindle, is in Skopje to hold meetings with the leaders of the four main political parties.
In a press release, Haindl declared that he has travelled to FYROM to be acquainted with the situation and says that there is not much time remaining and that joint efforts must be made by all political parties to implement the necessary reforms. Last night, Haindl met with the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, while today he will have meetings with the leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev and the leaders of BDI and PDSH. /balkaneu.com/
