Former leader of the Macedonian opposition, Branko Crvenkovski has demanded from the opposition to hold massive protests in order to overthrow the current government in FYROM.
Through a letter addressed to the head of the largest opposition party SDSM (Macedonian Social Democratic Union), he says that “the current regime of Nikola Gruevski cannot be overthrown with news conferences and social networks. This regime is overthrown by the people. More must be done and protests must be held”, Crvenkovski said.
Crvenkovski says that he fully supports current leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev for what he considers his courage in the fight against the current government.
“I praise Zoran Zaev for his courage and I strongly support him for the direct way in which he’s facing his challenges. I encourage the opposition leader to continue with this courage in this duty”, declared the former Macedonian opposition leader.
Brank Crvenkovski was founder and leader for several years of SDSM, serving for two terms as PM of the country. /ibna/
