During this evening, hundreds of citizens are protesting in front of the government building in Skopje, following the publication wiretapping materials from the opposition, which reveals the killing of a young Macedonian, Martin Neskovski.
Leader of the Macedonian opposition, Zoran Zaev published the wiretapped materials, that reveal conversations between the Interior minister, Gordana Jankulovska, PM Nikola Gruevski and the head of Secret Services, Saso Mijalkov, in relation to the murder of a young man in 2011 by a police officer, during the celebrations of the victory of VMRO-DPMNE in the early parliamentary elections.
“To evade political and official responsibility for the murder of young Martin Nesovski, the government and premeditated and implemented the plan to hold officer Igo Spasov and no other state official responsible for this murder. The conversation reveals how Jankulovska and Gruevski were planning to hide the truth for the murder”, Zaev said.
The protest continues to be massive and the citizens are chanting slogans for Gruevski to step down. Crowds are waving the national flag along with the Albanian flag. /ibna/
