The head of the government, Edi Rama and that of the opposition, Lulzim Basha, are expected to meet today at the “Palace of Congress” to discuss on the reform in the justice system and the next elections.
Rama and Basha are expected to meet today at 5 PM at the “Palace of Congress” and they will be accompanied by several respective officials.
PM Rama is expected to be accompanied by the head of the Committee for the Reform in the Justice System, Fatmir Xhafa and Bashkim Fino who chairs the Commission on the Electoral Reform. Meanwhile, the opposition leader Basha is expected to be accompanied by the vice chairman of the Commission for the Reform in the Justice System, Oerd Bylykbashi.
Some say that the meeting between the two leaders of the main political parties in the country is decisive for the future of the country.
But this meeting is also seen as a rise or a drop in perception scores for both politicians.
The meeting has been postponed several times, mainly by the opposition leaders. Rama initially suggested for the meeting to take place at the government’s seat, but this was not accepted by the opposition.
