Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa has invited all political parties to put aside their agendas and become part of the processes that speed up the European future.

He said that the opposition must back the ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, IBNA news agency reports.

“Such act strengthens the sovereignty of the state, gives way to the liberalization of visas and other integration processes, and it also offers an opportunity to create Kosovo’s Armed Forces”, said PM Mustafa.

According to him, with the constant support of the international partners, Kosovo is making big steps in terms of economic development, Euro Atlantic processes and the strengthening of the rule of law.

“Kosovo’s future consists of becoming a member of the UNO, NATO and part of the European family”, he said.

Mustafa’s declarations were immediately followed by the leader of Kosovo’s opposition, Visar Ymeri.

He said that the party that he leads, Self Determination, will reject this agreement which threatens the territory of Kosovo.

On Sunday, during a meeting held to elect the General Assembly of this party, Ymeri demanded engagement from the membership of the party to take action against the demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

Ymeri declared that the majority is attempting to restore this issue on the table, but Self Determination is determined to stop this.

“We are determined to stop any such damage, which would be catastrophic for the territory of Kosovo which has been liberated with blood”, Ymeri said.

For this reason, he said that Self Determination has started to plan and organize activities which he considered as “resistance activities”. /
