The acquisition amounting to USD 589 million of the turkish food distribution website had a positive impact on the turkish economy.

The German newspaper Delivery Hero offered this large amount to enter the turkish market. Delivery Hero is already active in 30 countries.

The Turkish distributor of fast food each month receives three million orders and distributes them to food distribution companies in 81 cities of Turkey.

According to the announcement of the acquisition, the 39-year old Turkish company CEO Nevzat Aydın will remain in his place and continue running the company.

The website was founded in 2000 and since then continues its upward trend having 700,000 active users. This website accepts the orders, sends them to its restaurants-members that distribute them, receiving a percentage from each order.
