Majlinda Kelmendi has won the prestigious award “Best Female Judoka Today” from the International Judo Association.
The Olympic champion has been awarded with the great award on Sunday evening in Budapest, Hungary, before the World Judo Championship.
The World Championship starts on 28 August and will last until 3 September.
Kelmendi has thanked the chairman of the International Judo Federation, Marius Vizer, saying that it was thanks to his support that Kosovo’s judo has seen so many successes.
