“Made in Albania” exports continue their growth. Such fact is confirmed by the recent data by the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) according to which, in the month of July 2017, exported goods amounted to 25 billion ALL, increasing by 9.7% compared to the same period a year ago and 9.4% compared to June 2017.
But, the same thing can also be said about imported goods, which in the month of July 2017 amounted to 55 billion ALL, registering an increase by 9.2% compared to a year ago and a 3.7% decrease compared to June 2017.
Furthermore, experts explain that the 9.7% annual growth of exports this month was mainly affected by the following groups: “textiles and shoes” with 5.6%, “construction materials and metals” with 3.6%, “food, beverage, tobacco” with 3.3%. The group which has had a negative effect on the annual difference in exports is “minerals, fuel, electricity” with -5.9%. /balkaneu.com/
