In a meeting held last night (July 9) with the party structures, the largest opposition party LSDM (Macedonian Social Democratic League) concluded that the current developments in the country are worrying.

“The recent tension is worrying. There’s no freedom, no democracy and no rule of law. The economy of the country is being destroyed and youth leaves the country as the only way out”, declared the general secretary of LSDM, Oliver Spasovski.

This party has decided on taking further political action, starting by the nomination of the representatives of the opposition shadow government.

Leader of LSDM, Zoran Zaev said that the opposition is strongly supported from within in order not to recognize the past elections, in order not to accept the parliamentary mandates and according to him, the only solution to the crisis is the formation of a technical government which would hold democratic elections.

“The scope of LSDM is sincere, it wants the state to go back to the right leadership”, said Zaev.

The opposition continues to boycott parliament and insist upon the creation of a technical government.

These demands have also been outlined in the meeting between its leader, Zaev with prime minister and leader of the biggest party, VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski. /ibna/
