Largest opposition party LSDM (Macedonian Social Democratic Union) declared today that it will press criminal charges against PM Nikola Gruevski for unlawful eavesdropping and filming.
The spokesman of this party, Petre Silegov declared that this party will soon address to the court.
“Based on the criminal code, eavesdropping and unauthorized filming is not allowed. In this case, Gruevski has broken the law. Now, the prosecution must do its job and we will see how it will react when it comes to Gruevski”, declared Silegov.
Silegov has also addressed a public question to PM Gruevski as to how long has the opposition been eavesdropped. He added that the opposition leader, Zoran Zaev has been long eavesdropped by the current party in power.
“Nikola Gruevski has been long eavesdropping the leader of opposition Zaev. Nikola Gruevski does this with everyone who visits his office. These are unprecedented examples in Europe and the democratic world”, declared the spokesman of LSDM.
This reaction followed a video that was made public last night, where PM Nikola Gruevski and opposition leader are talking in the government’s office. Their conversation related to the opposition’s accusations for possession evidence which incriminate the government in scandals. /ibna/
