Macedonian opposition party “Dignity” demanded today for justice institutions to act and arrest PM Nikola Gruevski.

The leader of this party, Stojance Angelov said that Gruevski must be arrested as soon as possible and that a trial should start on him for different criminal offenses, which according to him, are becoming public through the wiretapping affair.

“We demand from the Public Prosecution to immediately arrest the illegitimate PM Nikola Gruevski, because conditions are met for him to be arrested. First of all, he poses a flight risk, as he has lots of money and can leave at any time and assume a fake identity. There’s a reasonable fear that he will conceal, forge or destroy all evidence, that he will influence witnesses, investigators or collaborators. There’s also reasonable fear that he will repeat his criminal offenses and that he will commit other offenses”, declared Angelov.

According to him, many state institutions have already started to conceal and destroy proofs which have been made public by the opposition. Meanwhile, largest opposition party SDSM (Macedonian Social Democratic League_, has denounced Gruevski for unlawful criminal acts, such as material gains, appropriation of state owned lands and of influencing the judicial system. /ibna/
