The largest Macedonian opposition party LSDM (Macedonian Social Democratic League) declared today that it’s against the boycott of the second round of the presidential elections.
The reaction of this political force follows the opinion of several opponents and analysts from the Macedonian opposition camp for the elections to be boycotted.
“I’d like to make it clear that we remain committed to the electoral process and we will try with everything that we have to challenge the current government. I don’t believe in boycott and we don’t have any intention to boycott the second round of the presidential elections and neither the parliamentary ones that will be held on the same day, on April 27”, said the leader of LSDM, Zoran Zaev.
Opposition circles called for the elections and state institutions to be boycotted, because they claim that “the current government is able to secure another victory and will continue to rule the country in all government levels”. /ibna/
