Flights by German airline Lufthansa to and from Bulgaria’s Sofia Airport on November 11 were cancelled because of continuing industrial action by Independent Flight Attendant’s Organization (UFO).

Flights to and from Munich and Frankfurt were cancelled because of the Lufthansa cabin crew strike, called because of a dispute over retirement pay and cost-cutting.

In a statement, Lufhansa said that UFO had announced further strike action from November 11 to November 13 between 4am and midnight on all flights to and from Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf.
