Academic and writer, Luan Starova will be handed this month the 2014 “Novel of the year” award.
Starova was selected for this award in a contest which saw the participation of 32 national authors.
The jury consisting of prominent academics and writers in FYROM, chose the novel called “The Babylonians of the Balkan” by the Albanian author, Luan Starova.
This is the 16th year of this activity and its promoter is “Utrinski Vensik” newspaper with the support of other institutions and foundations that contribute in the domain of culture.
The novel has been published in the framework of the Academy of Sciences and Art in FYROM. This novel describes realities and interactions of cultures, civilizations and the traces left by them in the Balkan. /ibna/
