Acting prime minister, Hashim Thaci has sent a message to his political opponent and leader of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, who is claiming the post of the prime minister of the country.
According to him, the time when the country was governed by people who could not even exceed 10% in the elections has ended now.
Thaci said that after a successful election, the country cannot form the new government, because the losers have blocked the construction of institutions.
“As it was expected, Democratic Party of Kosovo achieved a clean victory, convincing and spectacular. But, unfortunately, even five months after the elections, the creation of the institutions remains blocked. The time when Kosovo was ruled by leaders who could not win more than 10% of votes in the elections has ended once and for all”, declared Thaci.
Outgoing prime minister said that the June 8 elections were fair, free, democratic and transparent.
“These elections were organized for the first time in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo. Our country marked a success. Central and local institutions extended their authorities in the entire country. The people had its say. The new government of the country will be formed by respecting the election result of June 8 polls and the rulings of the Constitutional Court. Kosovo needs stable, effective and all inclusive institutions focused on creating new jobs”, said Thaci. /ibna/
