Pristina-A delegation of the Parliament of Kosovo, chaired by the speaker of parliament, Jakup Krasniqi, is staying in Kuwait. According to the press release of the delegation of Kosovo, the members have been received in Kuwait by the most senior officials of the state, such as the Emir of Kuwait, the head of the National Assembly and the Prime Minister.
“We’re ready to help Kosovo where it has most of the needs. The Fund for Kuwait is ready to help any government project”, said the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah.
Kuwaiti leaders said that this visit is a good opportunity to be acquainted with the developments in both countries and to intensify cooperation between respective parliaments.
Meanwhile, during this meeting, Krasniqi has talked about the latest political developments in Kosovo and discussed over the importance of the accession of Kosovo in the UNO.
“During these years, we have established good relations with all the countries of the region, apart from Serbia, but recently, efforts have been made for the normalization of relations with this country too”, said Krasniqi.
The delegation will also meet with representatives of the Kuwaiti Fund for Development. /ibna/
