Leader of the Albanian party in power, BDI (Democratic Union For Integration), Ali Ahmeti has suffered a road accident in the highway linking Tetovo to Skopje. The official vehicle of Mr. Ahmeti has crashed with the pay toll near Tetovo. Immediately after the accident, Ahmeti and his driver have been rushed to the hospital of Tetovo, where he’s reported to have suffered slight body injuries.
Artan Grupi, Ahmeti’s chief of cabinet, declared that the party leader is well and has only suffered slight injuries.
“Leader Ahmeti suffered a road accident as he was travelling to Skopje where he was scheduled to meet with the Albanian parliamentary speaker, Ilir Meta. He and his driver are well and being treated in the hospital of Tetovo”, declared Artan Grupi.
A meeting was scheduled to take place today between leader of BDI and the Albanian parliamentary speaker, Ilir Meta. /ibna/
