Ramush Haradinaj has been reelected as leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) in its 8th congress.
With 527 votes in favor, 3 against and 2 abstains, he has received another mandate to lead the party, which he has led since its creation.
Addressing to the delegates, Haradinaj said that the aim of the party is to make Kosovo a state with European standards and with a consolidated democracy.
“Let us work all together for the rule of law. I call upon you to work together for an economy that generates new jobs. If after this assembly we decide to work with our moral values, then there’s no doubt that we will offer a value to our political system”, he declared.
AAK’s MP, Donika Kada-Bujupi said that this assembly is an extraordinary one, because such is the situation in the country. She said that a new chapter for the country will soon open.
“Let us put an end to all injustices. Citizens are tired of the injustices of this government. They have gone as far as approving laws and not applying these laws. It’s our duty and obligation to knock on the doors of each citizen and offer our alternative. Let us work in order for this state to be reformed and the government to change its governing mentality”, Kada said. /ibna/
