Today (10.07), Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has been registered as an MP of the fifth parliamentary legislature of Kosovo.
This is the second term for Haradinaj as an MP, but he may not be able to exert this post if the plan of the opposition parties LDK-AAK-INCENTIVE to form a government comes true. Haradinaj has been nominated for the post of the prime minister by the opposition bloc.
Haradinaj said that his certification for the second time as an MP is a special experience.
“Today, for the second time after ten years, I was certified as a member of the parliament of Kosovo. Of course, this was a special experience after a long period full of challenges that I, my family and Kosovo went through. This moment marks a new start for us, in our joint objectives and path for a European Kosovo”, declared Haradinaj.
He said that along with his colleagues of LDK, AAK and INCENTIVE and the support and constructiveness of the groups and other MPs determined for the big change, a new chapter and a new era will start for the country.
“Along with my colleagues, I share the same energies and the same commitment to continue where we left it 10 years ago. Kosovo has seen many achievements, it’s now an independent state, but our state and independence needs law, order, development, sovereignty and integration. We will do this together from the very first day of our government. Congratulations to Kosovo! Congratulations to my fellow citizens!”, said Haradinaj. /ibna/
